Design:
This Mantel Clock is based on a new pieced construction method that has been developing in Vincent's work over the past year. This is the first Dust piece to feature this method of design & construction. Conceptually, the pieced method is based on cutting & slicing a traditional design. The slices are individually abstracted and then reassembled to create this dynamic style.
Construction:
Like all Dust pieces, this clock is made from high quality domestic birch panels with a sustainable wood fiber core. The face is made of maple with laser engraved numerals. The piece is finished with high quality, vibrant & envinronmentally friendly paints. The piece is then hand-distressed & coated with an industrial quality, environmentally friendly clear coat. Features a step clock movement & glass dial.
